I have drawn together several different strands of my work under the banner of the Social Enterprise that I run called Our Creative Connection see HERE for more details.
In addition I am becoming more active with my commercial photography work, events in particular as these are now trading activities which support the social aims and objectives of Our Creative Connection.
A few years ago I was invited to take photographs of the Slaithwaite Moonraking Festival which takes place in the village where I live - of course I jumped at the chance and at the time I wrote a couple of blogs about the different aspects of the event that I photographed with two warm up events in preparation HERE and HERE and the main event HERE.
I was delighted when the festival got in touch recently and asked if they could use some of the photos I took back then in an article for Yorkshire Life Magazine to celebrate the return of the festival to an in person event.
Of course I said YES! It’s wonderful to see the photos in print and to know that they are helping the Moonraking festival to spread the word!
